Again not Forest Toys, but part of my flock on Pomona wooden birds, made from the 1920’s. With movable wings and marked underneath.
POMONA BIRDS
Another English company making in the 20s & 30s, these delightful bluebirds are painted and have movable wings. Height 3cm. The company also made many other animals and some figures too.
FOREST TOYS PANTHER
This black beauty is stalking through the exotic jungle looking for …..? Given to me by a very dear friend for a birthday many years ago. I have never seen another although he has two cheetahs who are good friends
SAMOYED. This beauty is not in my book The Forest Toys of Brockenhurst as he is a recent addition and it took me a little while to identify him. A lovely addition to the pack
Dairymaids The difference in these three Forest Toys dairymaids is really interesting. I would think that the one on the left is an update on the others as she has a shorter skirt and pink legs with shoes instead of boots.
ANNIVERSARY
Two years ago my book was first published. It has been posted to so many different countries and the popularity of these wonderful toys keeps on growing
Forest Toys Father & Son
Out for a Sunday walk, correctly attired in plus fours, cap, waistcoat and tie. Mother & daughter are probably at home cooking the Sunday lunch.
EASTER DONKEY
A very Happy Easter from the Forest Toys donkey family. These three are from my book
